1. About the Beta

The Wumci Beta is a pre-release version of our communication-assist app. Features may change, break, or be removed. The Beta is intended solely for testing, evaluation, and feedback.

By joining the Beta, you understand that:

  • The app may contain bugs or performance issues

  • Features and data structures may change during testing

  • Access to the Beta may be paused, updated, or ended at any time

  • The Beta is not guaranteed to be fully reliable, especially for medical, legal, or safety-critical use

2. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be 16 years or older

  • Be legally able to enter these Terms

The Beta is intended for adult personal and/or professional productivity use—not for children.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Beta for unlawful, harmful, or misleading purposes

  • Reverse-engineer, copy, resell, or exploit the Beta Services

  • Interfere with or disrupt servers, networks, or other users

  • Use the Beta to build automated services, benchmarks, or model datasets for third parties

We may suspend access if we believe these terms are violated.

4. Privacy & Data Use

Data handling is governed by the Wumci Beta Privacy Policy (see section above).

In summary:

  • We collect only the minimum data needed for functionality and stability

  • We do not sell your data or use it for advertising

  • Limited lexical summaries and context may be stored for cross-session features

  • You can delete your saved content or account at any time

  • Processing may occur on-device and/or in the cloud depending on the feature

5. Feedback

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or bug reports, you agree that:

  • Feedback is voluntary

  • We may use it to improve Wumci

  • We may incorporate your ideas without obligation to compensate you

6. Intellectual Property

Wumci, including its design, interface, features, and software, is owned exclusively by us.

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Beta solely for evaluation.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, translate, or distribute the app

  • Reverse-engineer or decompile it

  • Create derivative works
    (except where prohibited by law)

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

7. No Medical or Professional Advice

Wumci is a communication-assistance tool. It does not:

  • Diagnose or treat medical conditions

  • Provide legal, therapeutic, clinical, or professional advice

You are responsible for your own communication and decisions.

8. Beta Updates

We may release updates at any time. These may install automatically or require manual installation. Some updates may add, modify, or remove features.

9. Termination

You may leave the Beta at any time by:

  • Uninstalling the app

  • Requesting account deletion (optional)

We may suspend or end your access without notice—for example, due to misuse, inactivity, or discontinuation of the Beta program.

10. Disclaimers (Important)

To the maximum extent allowed by law:

The Beta Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

We make no warranties regarding performance, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

We are not responsible for damages related to:

  • Data loss

  • Misinterpretation of suggestions

  • Network issues or service disruptions

  • Errors, bugs, or performance problems

If you rely on Wumci during real-time communication, you do so at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the Beta Services is limited to $0, as the Beta is provided free of charge.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Beta evolves.
Significant changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
The “Last Updated” date reflects the current version.
